For a correction, include the page address, the wording you dispute and the paper or regulatory record that supports the change. A DOI or PubMed identifier is particularly helpful. A newer trial, a changed approval status or a mismatch between a source and a claim are all good reasons to write.

The most useful objections, for me, change the treatment question. If a comparison uses the wrong population, confuses an event outcome with a laboratory marker or makes unlike measurements sound interchangeable, point to the passage. That is worth revisiting even when the numbers themselves were copied correctly.
